What's covered and what's not?

Services are grouped into Clinical Supports, Independence Supports and Everyday Living, covering everything from nursing care and allied health to personal care, transport and help around the home.

While Support at Home covers assessed care needs, it doesn't cover general living expenses such as rent, utilities, holidays or lifestyle purchases.

Services Australia will determine your required contributions, depending on your circumstances.

What else should I know?

Funding may also be available through short-term pathways, like the Assistive Technology and Home Modifications scheme, which can help make your home safer and more accessible.

This may include items like walkers, shower chairs, grab rails, ramps and bathroom modifications when they're linked to your assessed needs.
