How do Support at Home classifications work?

Each classification includes a quarterly budget, with a linked annual funding amount. A portion of the budget is reserved for care management, helping ensure your services remain coordinated and responsive to your needs.

The remaining budget can be used for services on the approved Support at Home service list, based on your individual care plan and goals.

What happens if I don't use all my funding?

Support at Home budgets are issued quarterly. If you don't use your full budget during a quarter, you may be able to carry over a limited amount into the next quarter, in line with government rules.

If your care needs change, you or your Care Partner can request a reassessment to determine whether a different classification may be more appropriate.
