Support at Home is designed for people with higher or more ongoing care needs who require regular support to stay independent at home. It provides a higher level of funding and a wider range of services, making it suitable for those who need consistent help with daily living, mobility, health needs or safety at home.

Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
CHSP is ideal for people who need entry‑level or low‑level support to continue living safely and comfortably at home. It’s designed for those who may only need one or two services, such as cleaning, transport, meal preparation or social support, rather than ongoing, complex care.

Privately-funded services
Private services offer complete flexibility for anyone wanting immediate support, extra help on top of funded services, or assistance while waiting for a My Aged Care assessment. There are no waitlists and no eligibility requirements, and you can choose exactly the services you want, when you want them. It’s a great option for short‑term help, post‑hospital support, or simply adding more hours to your existing care.
